Privacy
A practical privacy note.

What this site is
Sualp.com is Mustafa Sualp's founder, thought-leadership, and field-notes site. It is used to publish essays, explain the Shared Intelligence thesis, route interested readers to Sociail.com, and support advisor or investor review flows.
This privacy note covers sualp.com. Sociail.com, Calendly, LinkedIn, GitHub, X, Medium, and other external destinations have their own privacy practices.
Information you choose to send
If you use a contact form, newsletter form, article-share form, advisor review page, or scheduling path, this site processes the information needed to complete that action. That may include your name, email address, message, selected review answers, article share recipient details, or scheduling information handled by Calendly.
Newsletter subscriptions and email delivery may be handled through Brevo. Article-share emails are one-time sends; recipients are not subscribed to a list by that action.
Analytics and useful site signals
This site uses lightweight analytics, only after cookie consent, to understand whether the writing, navigation, Sociail handoff paths, and advisor review flows are useful. The goal is signal quality, not surveillance.
Sualp.com may record aggregate page traffic, campaign parameters such as UTM source and campaign, article shares, copy-link actions, newsletter signup outcomes, contact-form outcomes, advisor review interactions, Sociail handoff clicks, search activity, and article start-reading clicks.
What this site avoids
The analytics implementation is intentionally bounded. It does not use browser-side PostHog autocapture, PostHog session replay, or cross-site behavioral tracking.
The first-party analytics endpoint is designed not to store private share-note text, newsletter email addresses, contact message bodies, advisor answer text, full recipient email addresses, raw full IP addresses, or a durable behavioral profile inside this site repository.
Tools and service providers
Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager may be used for aggregate traffic and campaign readback. A first-party analytics endpoint records privacy-bounded event metadata. PostHog may receive selected events through server-side forwarding only.
Brevo may be used for newsletter contact management and email delivery. Calendly may be used when you request a meeting. Cloudflare Turnstile may be used on forms to reduce automated abuse before email or list-management systems are contacted.
Local browser storage
Some features save preferences or draft review state in your own browser, including cookie consent, theme preference, advisor QA form backup, opened-link indicators, floating action button state, mission capsule progress, and sound preferences.
This local storage helps the site behave better for you. You can clear it through your browser settings.
Sociail Early Access
Sociail Early Access signup happens on Sociail.com. Sualp.com may record that someone clicked a handoff link to Sociail, but the actual signup and product-interest record are handled by Sociail.com and its intake systems.
Your choices
You can decline analytics cookies, reopen Cookie preferences from the footer, avoid submitting forms, clear local browser storage, block analytics with browser tools, unsubscribe from newsletter emails, or ask for correction or deletion of information you previously submitted.
For privacy requests, email mustafa@sualp.com or use the contact page. I will make a reasonable effort to respond and to remove or correct information where practical and appropriate.
